Man-made pond built in 1427. The Ryukyu Kingdom Era aristocracy used it for pleasure boating. Nearby, the Ryuen Bridge links it and Enkan Pond to the southeast, and Shuri Castle looms over the scene, with the green of Mt. Hantan in between.
