This pottery street is called Tsuboya Yachimun Street.
About 300 years ago, the Ryukyu royal government brought together pottery kilns that were scattered around the Okinawa, and since then, Tsuboya has continued its history as a pottery town.
The road is paved with Ryukyu limestone for about 400m.
There are also about 20 pottery studios and pottery galleries.
Next to the Naha Municipal Tsuboya Pottery Museum, you can see a place of worship,called Nishinume.
And you can see a well at the Himeyuri Street sidea, called Agarinukar.
You can enjoy to tasteful of the townscape.
